We source our tutors from some of the top Russel-group universities in the country, meaning they themselves have benefited from some of the best university teachings on offer.

N

Our tutors go through extensive training to ensure that they are fully prepared for every lesson, and have a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively teach children both with and without ASC.

Community Lead

Our tutors are verified members of our  community who guide and mentor young people outside of teaching hours through writing articles, answering questions in forums, and engaging in discussions!

Meet some Tutors

Arrjun Ramkumar

“I decided to join Coding with CodeX as it gave me the opportunity to teach something I’m passionate about to people of all ages. Coding with CodeX has given me the opportunity to teach over 1000 pupils how to code in multiple coding languages which is phenomenal.”

Becca Wye

“I joined CodeX because I love coding and I wish I’d had the opportunity to learn when I was a lot younger, so I find it great that I now get to pass on my passion to children.”

Ashia Ogunlade

“Working with CodeX has given me the opportunity to teach a range of different school children over the past few weeks and share my coding skills with them. I’ve also actually learnt a lot from the kids while teaching them, and we all really enjoy the lessons, so it’s been a great shared experience.”

Sam King

“I’m a Computer Science Student at the University of Nottingham, and I worked as the Technical Director at Coding with CodeX. I have been teaching Python for over 2 years and I have been working hard to find new ways to make learning programming fun.”

Safeguarding

At Coding with CodeX, we are committed to ensuring the highest possible standard of safeguarding. Our child protection policy has been informed by guidelines set out by the NSPCC, and includes the following provisions:

  • Our tutors are all verified university students, and we thoroughly interview every tutor during the hiring process.

  • All lessons are scheduled by us via Zoom, and no contact is allowed between students and tutors outside of these lessons.

  • Tutors will not be given any information about their students other than their first name and age.

  • All lessons are recorded and kept on a private and secure database, to ensure the safety of both our students and tutors. These recordings can be made available to parents or students upon requests, should you have any safeguarding concerns.

  • We actively encourage regular feedback about our tutors, and at the end of every course, we ask students to anonymously rate their tutors, so we have accurate feedback on all of our active tutors.
